New Toyota Etios Liva Launched In Bangalore; Prices Start At Rs. 5.72 Lakh
Japanese carmaker Toyota has launched the 2016 Etios Liva hatchback in Bangalore. Prices for the new Etios Liva start at Rs. 5.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore).

The 2016 Etios Liva is available with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines found on the pre-facelift version of the car.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 79bhp and 104Nm of torque while the 1.4-litre diesel pushes out 67bhp and 170Nm of torque.
Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Design wise the facelifted Etios Liva features a sportier look with a redesigned grille, a new chunkier front bumper, electric folding wing mirrors along with slightly tweaked rear bumper and tail lamps. The new Liva features brand new alloy wheels as well.
Inside, the new car gets revised seats, a new part-digital instrument cluster that is still mounted on top of the centre console which is now features a dual tone look. The rear seats can be folded down for some extra space for luggage.
Safety features like dual airbags as standard are carried forward to the new Liva. Toyota has now made Anti-Lock Brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (ABS with EBD) a standard feature on all variants of the Liva as well.
Also present are ISOFIX child seat mounts on the rear seat and all five seats come with three point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts which also feature pre-tensioner and force limiter (PTFL) for the the front seats.
The new Etios Liva will take on the likes of the Ford Figo, Tata Tiago, and the Hyundai Grand i10.
