Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland, on Friday, inaugurated a 'Tipper Mela' in Ranchi to showcase its entire product lineup of tipper trucks.
A press release said, "Known for its robustness and superior cost of ownership, the range of tipper trucks displayed are starting from four cubic metres to 23 cubic metres capacity.
"This is for the first time that the entire range has been displayed under one roof in Ranchi. Depending on the type of model, prices range between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 30 lakh."
At the occasion, Suvendu Moitra, Vice President East/East-SAARC/ASEAN, Marketing, Ashok Leyland, said, "This region is one of the richest in terms of natural resources which act as fuel for any expanding economy.
"For this reason, Ranchi has a very important role to play in our nation's growth. To support this role, tipper trucks become an indispensable tool and that is where we can help this region by providing robust products which are customised for all kinds of work conditions."
