Tata Zest Diesel Engine With 75PS Available In Two More Variants
Tata Motors has introduced two new variants in their Zest compact sedan for the Indian market. Both variants have been introduced only with the diesel engine option. The new variants will now produce 73.98bhp, which was previously offered only in the base variant of Zest.
Here are the new variants available with the 73.98bhp option:
Tata Zest XM diesel option producing 73.98bhp is priced at Rs. 6.83 lakh
Tata Zest XMS diesel option producing 73.98bhp is priced at Rs. 7.11 lakh

Initially, Tata Motors launched the Zest compact sedan with three variants. Diesel engine options are available with 88.77bhp and a single diesel engine producing 73.98bhp. Overall the diesel engine is available in six options offering several safety and creature comforts.
Currently, Tata Zest sources its diesel engines from Fiat India. A 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine produces an optional 88.77bhp or 73.98bhp depending on customer needs. The engine is mated to an optional 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
