Tata Xenon’s Updated Version Expected To Be Launched Next Month
The Tata Xenon XT has been in the market for a while now, and is about to get an update.
The updated version will be named as the TATA Xenon Yodha. The details are not yet revealed, but we can expect the usual updates like a new bumper, grille, wheels, and fog lamps.
The Yodha will be competing against the Isuzu D-Max V-cross pickup and the Scorpio Getaway. The Yodha could receive an infotainment system as part of its interior upgrade list because the V-cross has one. Not only this, but one can also expect some improvement in the dashboard design and upholstery.
The Tata Xenon Yodha will be powered by the Tata Safari's 2.2-litre VARICOR engine, and not the DICOR power plant.
The VARICOR engine will be offered in two variants: 147bhp/ 320Nm with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 154bhp/ 400Nm variant with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Yodha is expected to be launch in September.
