Tata Tiago Launched, Prices Start At Rs. 3.20 Lakhs
Tata Motors has launched the Tiago hatchback in India. Prices for the Lionel Messi endorsed Tata Tiago start at an introductory price of Rs. 3.20 lakhs, ex-showroom (Delhi).

Engine & Gearbox Specifications
The Tiago is powered by a set of new petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 84bhp and 114Nm of torque and returns a mileage of 23.84km/l. The 3-cylinder diesel engine displaces 1.05-litres and produces 69bhp and 140Nm of torque whiel giving a mileage of 27.28km/l.
In a segment-first feature, both engines feature two driving modes — Eco and City. Both powerplants send the power to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Styling
The Tiago's design is aimed at the younger buyer and the new car looks quite sharp and energetic.
The front features sculpted headlamps which flank the grille featuring the Tata Motors emblem front and centre. The character lines running across the sides give the Tiago a sculpted look and at the rear the angular taillamps accentuate the youthful look of the car.
The Tata Tiago is available in 6 different colours - Pearlescent White, Platinum Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Sunburst Orange, and Striker Blue.
Inside the Tiago features a dual tone interior. The side AC vents can be customised to match the exterior colour of the Tiago hatch.
The centre console features the infotainment system which is linked to an eight-speaker audio system designed by Harman. The infotainment system also provides turn-by-turn navigation when you connect it to your smartphone.

Availability And Rivals
The Tata Tiago is now available across Tata Motors dealerships across the country and will compete with the Hyundai i10 Grand, the Ford Figo and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio.
