Heavily Camouflaged Tata Nexon Caught Testing On Indian Roads
Tata Motors plans on introducing a product in every segment available in India. The Nexon compact SUV is upcoming and was recently spied testing in its close to production ready avatar. The all-new Tata Nexon is expected to launch in India sometime during 2017.
The Nexon compact SUV was showcased recently in its concept form at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Tata Motors currently does not have any product on offer in the compact SUV segment in India. So far, the Nexon from Tata Motors has been spied on multiple occasions.
Heavy camouflage can be seen over the Tata Nexon, however, the overall design is clear. Headlights have been swapped so that part of design element will be saved till closer to launch. Expect similar headlights showcased by Tata Motors on the concept to make it to production.
A small rear window has been adopted just like the concept. Tail lights are not as radical to that seen on Nexon concept. The size of the tail lights have been maintained, however, they look a bit bigger and more traditional. Rear bumpers maintain their muscular design seen on the concept as well.
Under the hood, the Tata Nexon will be powered by an all-new 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Both engines will be mated to manual gearboxes, with an optional automatic transmission on offer at a later stage. Tata Motors will also be offering driving modes like Eco and Sport.
