Tata Hexa Will Not Be Sold Through Premium Dealerships
Tata Motors will not set up seperate premium dealerships to sell its premium crossover SUV, the Hexa.
The much awaited Tata Hexa is all set to launch in January 2017. The crossover SUV from Tata Motors is the most expensive model to go on sale in the country.
The Hexa is a premium product for the Indian automaker, but Tata Motors has decided not to set up separate premium dealerships for its premium products.
Maruti Suzuki has set up its premium dealerships, the NEXA to sell its premium models in the country. It was expected that Tata Motors will come up with a similar setup but the firm has decided to offer premium sales experience through its existing dealerships.
Tata Motors dealerships will have ‘Hexa Relationship Executives' a dedicated staff to handle sales and service of the Hexa exclusively for the Hexa customers.
By using the current dealerships, Tata Motors can offer Hexa throughout the country from the day of launch. This will boost the sales of the premium crossover SUV in the country. It will also reduce the investment and energy to set up premium dealerships.
Tata Motors has commenced the bookings for the Hexa with an advanced payment of Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000. Dealers have stated that the first batch of Hexa's will be delivered to the customers by end of January.
