Tata Hexa Launch Date Confirmed By Tata Motors Dealership
Tata Motors will be launching the Hexa crossover SUV on January 16, 2017. This was stated by a Tata Motors dealer.
Tata Motors will be launching its upcoming crossover SUV, the Hexa on January 16, 2017. This was stated by a Tata Motors dealer.
The Tata Motors dealers across the country have already started to accept bookings for the Hexa. Customers can also avail a test drive of the vehicle at dealerships from the first week of December.
Tata Motors will be delivering the first lot of models by December to the dealerships. So customers can know the vehicle inside and out.
One of the dealers has confirmed that the Tata Hexa has received 250 bookings in just two days. The Hexa is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.
The Tata Hexa will be offered in three variants - XE, XM and XT. The automatic transmission will be only offered in XE and XM trims, whereas the manual gearbox comes in all the three models.
The Hexa will be powered by 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine which was also used in the Tata Safari Storme. The diesel unit churns out 154bhp and 400Nm of torque.
The new crossover SUV will be also equipped with safety features such as - six airbags, electronic brake distribution, anti-lock braking system, and hill control.
The Hexa will come with multi-drive modes - comfort, Dynamic, Rough and Auto. The crossover SUV will also come with Harman Kardon infotainment with ten JBL speakers as standard across all the variants.
After the success of the Tiago hatchback, Tata Motors is betting high on the Hexa crossover SUV. When launched the Hexa will be a tough competitor to the likes of Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
