Tata Hexa Deliveries To Commence From February 2017
The much-awaited premium SUV from Tata Motors, the Hexa has received good response from Indian customers.
The much-awaited crossover SUV from Tata Motors, the Hexa is less than a month away from its launch and the reports indicate that the upcoming vehicle is getting a good response from the Indian customers.
Tata Motors will be launching the Hexa on January 18, 2017. The crossover SUV is open for booking with a token amount of Rs 11,000 and the booking figures are promising.
The Hexa will be available in six variants across nine trims. The dealers are expecting to deliver the new vehicles by early February.
The waiting period for some variants of the Hexa will be minimal, whereas the other variants will have long waiting periods. Tata Motors is expected to price the Hexa aggressively in the market, so we can expect the booking numbers to go up once the SUV is launched.
The Hexa will be offered in six and seven-seater configuration. The crossover SUV will be powered by 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine offered in two tune options.
The Varicor 300 engine produce 148bhp and 320Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed or six-speed manual gearbox. The Varicor 400 engine will churn out 154 bhp and 400Nm of peak torque and will be mated to six-speed automatic transmission.
The new crossover SUV will also sport four driving modes - Auto, Dynamic, Comfort and Rough Road. The Hexa is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 13.83 lakh to Rs 18.4 lakh.
Once launched the Tata Hexa crossover SUV will go head on against the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Renault Lodgy.
