The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is the crossover vehicle from the company and has been given a facelift treatment. The new S-Cross though has been revealed in Europe, to be precise in Hungary in July 2016. Now, Suzuki has confirmed the prices of the S-Cross in the UK.
Suzuki will launch the 2017 S-Cross in the UK with a starting price tag of £14,999 (Rs 12.90 lakh approx.). Suzuki is offering the facelifted S-Cross in the UK with the 1.0-litre or the 1.4-litre Booster Jet petrol engines, or a 1.6-litre DDiS diesel unit with class-leading emissions and low fuel efficiency.
The price aforementioned is for the entry level S-Cross which is powered by the 1.0-litre Booster Jet petrol engine paired with a manual gearbox. All variants receive standard treatment of seven airbags and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP).
Also seen on the entry-level S-Cross are the Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, air conditioning, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control with speed limiter, black protective skid plates, heated door mirrors, and black wheel arch extensions.
The mid variant in addition to the entry-level model will receive LED projector headlamps, sat-nav, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, front fog lamps, silver roof rails, rear privacy glass, and silver skid plates.
As for the top of the line S-Cross, the flagship version will see a host of safety features such as Radar Brake Support, leather seat upholstery, heated front seats, a double sliding panoramic sunroof, and aluminium roof rails. The mid and the top variant will enjoy the features of Suzuki's renowned four wheel drive tech or ALLGRIP as its is known.
