Suzuki Reveal How The Baleno SR Rally-Spec Model Is Built
Maruti Suzuki recently launched its premium hatchback in the Indian market. The Baleno has been a popular product in India since its initial launch. Now, the Japanese-based automobile giant has revealed to us its rally-spec model called 'Baleno SR'.
The Baleno SR was showcased for the very first time at the Suzuki Rally Trophy in Rally di Roma 2016 in Italy. Now, here is a quick video of how engineers and technicians built this unique rally-spec hatchback.
Under the hood, is Suzuki's 1.0-litre BoosterJet, three-cylinder petrol engine. The factory-spec engine produces 112bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. Performance figures of the Baleno SR have not been revealed, however, India will soon be getting the Baleno RS with the aforementioned spec.
