Stoffel Vondoorne Promises To Race In F1 2017 Season
Stoffel Vandoorne is McLaren-Honda's reserve driver for the 2016 Championship. The Belgian now promises that he will take part full time in Formula One 2017 season. Currently, McLaren-Honda confirms only Fernando Alonso as their driver for next Formula One season.
Jenson Button so far has not received an extension on his contract with McLaren-Honda. There are rumours that Williams-Racing plans to replace Felipe Massa with Jenson Button, alongside Valtteri Bottas in their team.
Vandoorne explains that either way he will have a permanent seat in Formula One 2017 season. He has made his intentions clear that his goal is to acquire a racing seat for next year. Now it is McLaren-Honda's turn to make the tough decision of choosing between either driver.
McLaren-Honda is in no hurry to make an announcement who will race in similar colours with Fernando Alonso. Stoffel Vandoorne has showcased his talent in Formula One when he replaced the Spaniard who was declared unfit to race.
2017 Formula One Championship will witness various changes and updates. Every manufacturer and driver knowledge will be reset. New tyres, chassis, aerodynamics, and other driving aids will change driving characteristics of the vehicle and drivers could have to change their style.
