Skoda Superb One Millionth Unit Produced Worldwide

Till date, Skoda Auto has manufactured over 8.50 lakh units of the Superb model. Now the Czech manufacturer has hit another record by producing 1 lakh units of its third generation Skoda Superb. Production of the latest Superb began globally during March 2015.

The one millionth Skoda Superb rolled off the assembly line from the Kvasiny facility. The momentous occasion was celebrated by all Skoda staff members on May 11, 2016. Skoda's Superb model is the carmaker's flagship product and is offered in several countries around the world.

The third generation Skoda Superb is the company's most powerful, safest, and the most technologically advanced model till date. In Europe, the latest iteration of Skoda Superb has witnessed an overwhelming response. The model was recently awarded 'Car of the Year' title in Europe and has won the 'Red Dot Award' for product design.

The very first Skoda Superb made its global debut back in 2001. Since then it has been Skoda's best-seller in the segment. In 2008, Skoda introduced their second-gen Superb, which was another popular model in its segment.

The third generation Skoda Superb is on sale in the Indian market as well. Both petrol and diesel options with manual and automatic transmission options are available. The Skoda Superb is priced from Rs. 23.39 lakh to Rs. 30.28 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai).
