Skoda Octavia Has Been In Continuous Production For 20 Years
The very first Skoda Octavia was manufactured back on September 3, 1996. The Octavia is now in production for two decades. Former President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel, inaugurated Skoda's new manufacturing unit and flagged off the production of Octavia.
Apart from the Mlada Boleslav facility of Skoda, several other units also manufacture the current-gen Octavia. Currently, Skoda Auto manufactures its Octavia in China, India, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Over five million Skoda Octavia models have been sold till date around the globe.
