Launch Alert: Skoda Octavia Black Edition In January 2017

Edition.

The Black Editions are the sportier versions of the models in the Skoda's product lineup. According to a report from Autocar India, the Skoda Octavia Black Edition will hit the Indian market in January 2017.
Like its name, the model will get a lot black embellishing such as dark alloy wheels, wing mirror housings, and a boot lid spoiler.
Inside, the vehicle features all-black upholstery and sports seats. Overall, the car will look sporty both from inside and outside.
The model will be also equipped with ‘Amundsen' satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, full leather upholstery, cruise control, floor mats and metallic pearl effect paint.
Powering the Black Edition will be the same petrol and diesel engines currently used in the standard Octavia. The engine variants are 1.4-litre petrol, 1.8 TSI petrol, and 2.0 TDI diesel.
The transmission duties are carried by 6-speed manual, 6-speed DSG automatic and 7-speed DSG automatic.
Along with the Black Edition, Skoda will also launch the Octavia RS in India next year. Skoda is heating up the battle in the sedan segment by launching hot products in the country and with this performance variants, it will become more strong in the Indian market.
