Shocking! Electric Car Destroys LaFerrari In A Drag Race
The Concept One is an electric car from a small Croatian manufacturer called Rimac Automobili.
However, one shouldn't underestimate the Croation car, or its creators, who also supply battery packs for the Koenigsegg Regera hybrid hypercar.
When the Concept One is set up against a 950bhp and 900Nm spitting Ferrari LaFerrari for a quarter mile drag race, you may think all hope is lost for the Rimac.
You'd be wrong, as the Rimac itself is total madman of an electric car, something the LaFerrari found out on the drag strip. With over 1,000bhp and 1,600Nm of torque, the Concept One eats Teslas for breakfast and then in this case, washes it down with a small helping of prancing horse.
The Concept One can go from 0–100km/h in just 2.8 seconds and it has a top speed of 305km/h. Despite the madness, it can still ferry its two occupants around for 600 kilometers on a single charge. Charging up the battery takes just 20 minutes.
So next time you talk about electric cars with something other than respect, remember, the Concept One wouldn't mind teaching them and you, a lesson in common courtesy and manners.
