The French automaker is speculated to launch its all-new electric car, the Zoe hatchback, which is said to have an impressive range of 350kms almost the double of its current version. Renault Zoe is a well-known vehicle in France and is becoming popular in the European market as well.
The Zoe hatchback is a small five-door hatch with NEDC-rated range of 240 kms. The car is equipped with a 22kWh battery pack. But customers have to rent the battery pack. The car is priced at $24,500 (Approximately Rs 16.4 lakh) and can rent a battery pack at $55 per month.
Reports from the French media suggests that Renault is all set to launch an all-new Zoe with a range of 350kms, it is still unclear that the range is NEDC or usable one. Renault's partner Nissan is also working on a new 60kWh battery, but we will get a clear picture this October when the car is officially launched.
