Renault Megane Caught Testing On Public Roads Prior To India Launch
Renault will be launching the Megane premium sedan in the Indian market. Recently, the Megane was caught testing on public roads of Turkey. The premium sedan was spied close to Renault's manufacturing facility in Bursa, Turkey.
Once Renault launches the Megane sedan in India, it will replace the Fluence sedan. The Megane would be replacing Renault's Fluence in most countries. It will be the fourth iteration of the Megane in the international market, and the first time it will be launched in India.
The all-new Megane will be introduced in over 20 countries. In India, Renault will launch the Megane premium sedan sometime during 2017. At this moment, it is unclear if Renault will be locally manufacturing the Megane premium sedan or not.
Internationally, the Renault Megane will be offered with five engine options. Two petrol and three diesel engine options will be available. All engines will be mated to an optional manual and automatic gearbox, along with front wheel only drive.
