Renault Lodgy Travels From Delhi To Mumbai On One Full Tank
The Lodgy Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) from Renault has performed an incredible feat. Renault took the Lodgy from Delhi to Mumbai on just one full tank. A distance of 1,388 kilometres was covered in remarkable fashion by the French-based manufacturers MPV.
All it took was just 32.91 litres to cover a distance of 1,388 kilometres. On the Delhi to Mumbai trip, the Lodgy provided fuel efficiency figures of 42km/l. The Renault Lodgy has a large fuel tank and can accommodate 50 litres of fuel when filled to the brim.
Powering the Renault Lodgy is a 1.5-litre dCi four-cylinder, diesel engine with Turbo VGT. The engine is tuned to produce 108.50bhp, along with 245Nm of peak torque. Renault's Lodgy was an impressive 1,386 kilogrammes.
The epic journey began from Delhi and stops were made at Jaipur, Udaipur, Vadodara, and finally Mumbai. Officials from Ernst & Young made sure that fuel tank was sealed from the starting point till the journey came to an end in Mumbai.
The Lodgy was launched in India during April 2015. In India the Lodgy takes on the likes of Nissan Evalia, Chevrolet Enjoy, and Toyota Innova. The French-based automobile manufacturer also offers several other interesting products in the Indian market.
