Renault India Silently Discontinues A Variant Of The Lodgy
Renault India is trying to boost sales in the country during 2016 festive season. Currently, the French-based manufacturer offers the Lodgy as its sole MPV offering in India. The Renault Lodgy takes on the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and soon to be launched Tata Hexa.
Now, Renault India has silently discontinued the Lodgy RxZ variant. Previously, the RxZ variant was the only option for 110PS Lodgy. Customers that prefer a more powerful engine can opt for the 110PS model only in the Lodgy World Edition variant.
Here are the updated variants of Renault Lodgy now available:
- Lodgy 85PS Standard (8-seater) is priced at Rs. 7.59 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
- Lodgy 85PS RxE (7-seater) is priced at Rs. 8.57 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
- Lodgy 85PS RxE (8-seater) is priced at Rs. 8.57 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
- Lodgy 85PS RxL (8-seater) is priced at Rs. 9.44 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
- Lodgy 85PS World Edition (8-seater) is priced at Rs. 9.74 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
- Lodgy 110PS World Edition (8-seater) is priced at Rs. 10.40 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi)
Powering Renault Lodgy is a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is offered in 84bhp and 108bhp performance options. Regular Lodgy will now be offered only with the 84 bhp tune option. However, those that prefer the 108bhp option will have to opt for the Lodgy World Edition.
