Red Bull F1 Engines To Be Branded Tag Heuer Up To 2018
Tag Heuer and Red Bull Racing will continue branding Renault engines till 2018 Formula One Championship. Previously, the trio had got into a deal only for the 2016 Formula One season.
Red Bull Racing has extended its engine branding agreement with Tag Heuer. The trio has entered into an agreement up to 2018 Formula One season. In total, Tag Heuer and Red Bull Racing will be associated with engine branding partnership for three years.
The Renault engines will be branded Tag Heuer for Red Bull Racing. Previously, Red Bull and Tag Heuer entered into engine branding deal for a single year. Based on the performance and work ethics the duo has decided to extend their deal for two more years.
Initially, Red Bull Racing was unhappy with Renault power units and had planned not to continue with them. During 2016, Renault engine has improved significantly, thus increasing Red Bull Racing's confidence. Red Bull Racing extended Renault engine deal during 2016 Monaco GP.
Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen have also been confirmed for 2017 Formula One Championship. Both drivers have displayed incredible speed and passion. Red Bull Racing will be more than happy to continue with their existing driver line-up in 2018 Formula One season.
