Porsche's Goodbye To Audi Will Hit You Right In The Feelings
Try your best not to cry.
Since Audi has announced its retirement from endurance racing, Porsche felt the need to say goodbye to their competition through a new video.
It was Audi Sport who first welcomed Porsche back to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA WEC, three years ago through a video. Porsche is now returning the favour.
Following the first video's storyline, the driver of the Porsche tractor returns to the Porsche headquarters where the Audi R18 wrote ‘Welcome Back' on the tarmac and washing off the skid marks.
The video ends by revealing a new ‘Come Back' message, with credits thanking Audi Sport for their competition on the race track.
Audi announced its retirement from endurance racing October 2016, after 18 years of competing that has 106 wins out of 185 races. The company has also managed to score 13 first positions in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
