This Is No James Bond Movie Shoot — Porsche’s Preview Event In Lithuania
When launching a luxury sports car to its potential customers, it's very important to make a badass entry like never before to attract attention of the global automobile market. Porsche has done exactly the same while premiering the Porsche Panamera in Lithuania.
The German car maker flew the Panamera under a chopper, who made the delivery look like child's play. The sedan was harnessed to its wheel and floating in mid air under the helicopter. The crowd gathered to watch this impressive debut was equally ecstatic with this stunt.
The second-gen Panamera will be initially available in three variants, the 4S which produces 434bhp, 4S diesel with an output of 416bhp and the top of the line Turbo which pumps 542bhp of power. And later on an E-Hybrid variant will be launched which produces 456bhp with a range of 50km solely on electric power.
The new Panamera will hit the European markets in early November, and followed by hybrid variant in April next year. Porsche has not yet revealed about the pricing or launch dates in US, but with the Paris Motor Show around the corner more details can be expected.
Porsche will also launch more variants of Panamera in the course of time, with additional powertrains, Porsche might power-up the Turbo's 4-litre, V8 mill. It's speculated there will be a top of the line hybrid version coupled with this engine which will produce around 700bhp.
