Porsche Macan Turbo Gets Performance Enhancing Boost — SUV Now Faster Than The 911 Sports Car
German sports car maker Porsche has unveiled the performance package for the Macan Turbo.
The suped-up Macan Turbo with the performance pack can now outsprint a 911.

The performance pack Macan Turbo gets dynamic LED headlights and black exterior trim pieces.
Inside, there a black leather and Alcantara seats along with carbon fibre trim pieces.
The performance pack lowers the suspension of the Macan Turbo by 15mm thanks to the bespoke chassis settings for the car's Active Suspension Management (PASM) system.
The brakes have also been uprated and the SUV sits on 21-inch alloy wheels which are quite similar to the ones found on the 911 Turbo.
The Performance pack tweaks the Macan 3.6-litre twin-turbo engine so that it now produces and extra 40bhp and 50Nm of torque.
The Macan Turbo now pushes out 434bhp and 600Nm of torque.
The performance package also fits the sports exhaust system to the Macan Turbo, to ensure that everyone else on the road gets to hear the howling turbo V6.
The performance package makes themakes the Sport Chrono Package equipment standard. This results in faster gear changes from the 7-speed dual clutch automatic PDK gearbox
The Porsche Macan Turbo with the performance package tweaks can now sprint from 0–100km/h in just 4.4 seconds which is 0.2 seconds faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera.
The added power and torque has also pushed the top speed up by 6.5km/h to 272km/h.
