Polaris India Wins Raid de Himalaya 2016 In 4x4 Extreme Class
Polaris India has emerged victorious in the toughest motorsport event in the country, the Raid de Himalaya.
Behind the wheel of the Polaris RZR XP 4 was Lhakpa Tsering and his co-driver V Venu Rameshkumar. The duo displayed impressive performance in the highest motorable roads and secured victory in Class Seven category of 4x4 Extreme.
Raid de Himalaya has a reputation of being one of the toughest rallies in India and now it has also earned its spot in Indian motorsports calendar.
This rally features some scenic sections of the Himalayan range, while testing the physical and mental fitness of the competitors.
Managing Director, Polaris India, Pankaj Dubey said, "We are absolutely delighted with our participation and performance at one of the most challenging motorsport rallies- Raid De Himalaya. The extraordinary Polaris RZR XP 4 1000 is designed and engineered to perform even in the most challenging terrains like the mighty Himalayas."
He added, "Raid De Himalaya gave us a platform to underline the practicality and the performance of these mean machines in extreme off road condition."
He further said, "I would like to congratulate the winners for displaying their determination and achieving yet another milestone for Polaris India. I was happy to see that all 4 participants on Polaris RZR finished the rally."
