Turin Motor Show: Pininfarina Displays Future Car Design Projects
Pininfarina, the Italian design house that created marvels for brands like Ferrari, is now owned by Mahindra. But that aside, the design house recently conducted a workshop for students from top design firms in Europe to come with future car design concepts, based on the topic "On Board Emotions".
Students from various countries like Italy, France, and Sweden took part and their work is currently on display at the Turin Motor Show, that is currently taking place in Italy. The projects that are on display focus on evolution of automotive design in the light of autonomous driving technologies.
The objective of the workshop was to find out how new forms of mobility can affect functionality of the interiors and the experience on board. Some of these students also have the opportunity to get onboard with the Italian design house, according to the company's Chief creative Officer, Fabio Filippini.
The student's workshop was part of Pininfarina's 85th anniversary, and the concepts include Pininfarina Proteo, Legame, Molly, Individual, Entity and Companion, Morphing Arena, and many more.
