Pininfarina & Mahindra To Produce An Electric Sports Car
Mahindra has acquired Pininfarina, which is popularly known for their automotive design work. The duo according to reports plans on developing their very first electric sports car. So far, it is unclear when this model will be put to production and what badge will it bear.
Pininfarina recently showcased an all-new hydrogen-powered sports car concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Mahindra is most likely to use the H2 Speed concept as a base for their electric sports car project.
In terms of technology and other electronic gadgets, Mahindra will use its experience from their Formula E endeavour. The Mahindra Racing Team is part of the Formula E Championship for last two years and has gained immense knowledge during this period.

Currently, Mahindra offers only the e2o electric vehicle. They have several other models which are expected to enter mass production soon. Mahindra & Mahindra plans on offering vehicles of all size, displacement, and now even fuel option globally.
