McLaren To Auction One-Off 675 Long Tail For Charity
British carmaker McLaren will auction a one-off 675LT Coupe at the 'One Night for One Drop' event in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 18. All proceeds from the auction will go to will benefit the charity group One Drop which focuses on people getting access to safe water across the world.
The 675LT Coupe on auction has been specced up by McLaren Formula One racing driver Jenson Button. Button also applied his signature on driver's side door sill.
The 675LT coupe is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 that pushes out 666bhp and 700Nm of torque. The 675LT is also 100 kilograms lighter than the 650S it is based on and the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox is twice as fast. 0–100km/h takes just 2.9 seconds, while the sprint to 200km/h is over in 7.9 seconds. The top speed is 330km/h.
Bidding for the 675LT will start at $400,000.
