No Need For Data Connection When You Have To Book An Ola Cab
The app-based taxi service providers are constantly evolving in India. Ola and Uber are trying to outdo the other by adding more value and enhancing end user experience. In Ola's latest update they now allow offline booking for your desired taxi.
Now customers who have issues with an internet connection can book an Ola cab via SMS. Offline booking has been confirmed by Ola through an email sent out to all its app users. The app will be capable of detecting whether the data connection is available or not.
Ola's app will detect internet service and if offline will prompt sending location via SMS. App users will receive driver details via SMS as well post confirming booking. Driver and customer will be able to contact each other via phone call.
Payment options remain the same with offline mode, customers can either pay by cash or through Ola Money. For every SMS, customers will be charged as per their billing plan through network providers. No additional charge will be applicable on the usage of offline Ola bookings.
