This information was confirmed by Guillaume Sicard, Nissan India President. An official announcement regarding X-Trail hybrid launch was made during the launch of the all-new GT-R in India. Nissan X-Trail hybrid will be introduced as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) model.
Under the hood of Nissan X-Trail hybrid is a 2.0-litre petrol engine. It is coupled with an electric 32Kw electric motor. The hybrid SUV will sport a front-wheel drive system with an innovative two clutch parallel hybrid system.
