Nissan
had
showcased
the
Kicks
concept
at
the
2014
Sao
Paulo
Auto
Show.
Now
the
small
SUV
concept,
as
just
been
revealed
in
its
production
form.
The Kicks was developed by the collaborating US and Brazilian studios under the supervision of renowned designer Shiro Nakamura.
The
highlights
in
the
design
will
be
the
large
V-shaped
grille,
blacked
out
pillars
and
horizontal
LED
Headlights.
The
Kicks
will
share
some
technical
bits
from
the
Micra
and
powering
the
car
will
be
a
1.6-liter
engine
mated
to
a
5-speed
manual
gearbox.
The
car
will
be
introduced
later
this
year
with
an
Xtronic
CVT
gearbox
as
well.
The main competitors of the Nissan Kicks will be the Honda HR-V, Ford EcoSport, and the Renault Duster.
Initially, the Nissan Kicks will be manufactured and sold only in Brazil and later it will be coming to other countries like India.
