Nissan confirmed the global debut of its crossover, Kicks in January this year and has been tested on a Nissan Note's body.
Test mules of the production car have now been spotted in Brazil, which seem to be wearing the actual production body under the camouflage.
The Kicks will be based on Nissan's V-platform used in the cars like Micra and Sunny.
The Kicks will fall below the Juke crossover in Nissan's Line-up. It will sport a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine, which can run on a blend of petrol and 20-25 percent ethanol. This engine will be built at the Nissan's plant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Kicks will make its global debut in May this year at the Rio 2016 Olympics, and the first batch of Kicks is likely to be manufactured at Nissan's Aguascalientes facility in Mexico.
