Nissan Strengthens Its After Sales Network In India
Nissan India has inaugurated its third spare parts distribution centre situated in Chakan, Pune in Maharashtra.
Nissan has inaugurated its third regional parts distribution centre as the part of the company's strategy to expand its after sales service network across the country.
Nissan has already set high standards for the availability of spare parts to its customers. Nissan calls it as fill rate which measures how many orders can be met from existing inventory and Nissan has achieved 96 percent of fill rate in 2015.
The newly inaugurated parts distribution centre is located in Pune, Maharashtra will improve the service by quick delivery of spare-parts to dealers in western and central part of India.
The new facility is situated at Chakan in Pune, Maharashtra. The facility is spread over 60,278 sq. feet area and comprises of 70 well trained employees.
Customers from 35 dealerships in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Daman & Diu will get benefited from this new spare parts distribution centre.
One of the two parts distribution centre set up in India by Nissan is located in Chennai which covers pan-India dealers. The other centre is located in Haryana serving the northern parts of the country.
Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, Arun Malhotra said, "Nissan is a customer centric organization and we are focused on providing the best after sales experience to our customers. We have brought the best global customer service practices to India, and we are continuing to invest with our new parts distribution centre in Pune to come closer to our customers."
