Formula 1: Nico Rosberg Aims Victory At Interlagos
“I’m not going to change my approach. I need to keep doing what helps me perform at my best and that’s going for the win every time.”
Formula
1
championship
leader
Nico
Rosberg
said
that
he
is
not
going
to
change
his
driving
style
for
this
weekend's
Brazilian
Grand
Prix.
He
finished
on
the
podium
in
the
last
race
at
Mexico
and
he
will
push
for
the
win
at
the
Interlagos
circuit.
But, Rosberg was disappointed with his performance in the last two GPs as he saw his teammate Lewis Hamilton win and close the gap in the championship. With two races to go, Rosberg leads Hamilton by nineteen points.
The German is very eager to return to winning ways. If he wins the race held at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, he will become the World Champion. He has a good record around the Interlagos circuit.
Rosberg said, "Mexico wasn't ideal. I was going for the win as always but Lewis was just a little bit faster all weekend. Sometimes you just have to accept that and be satisfied with your work.
"I'm not going to change my approach. I need to keep doing what helps me perform at my best and that's going for the win every time. There are still two races to go and anything can happen in this sport, so I need to focus my energy on the factors that I have in my control.
"I've got a good form in São Paulo. It's one of the real classic tracks, which usually produce some exciting races, so I'm looking forward to getting out there and having a big battle in front of those awesome Brazilian fans."
