Next Gen Honda Brio Codenamed 2UA; Amaze Codenamed 2UB

The Honda Brio and the Amaze need a facelift and the carmaker is working on just that. Work is in progress and Honda has codenamed them as the 2UA for the Brio and 2UB for the Amaze. The next generation cars will hit the Indian markets by 2018-2019.

Although technical details are not known at the moment, both cars will receive cosmetic changes. The Amaze will come up upgraded safety features to meet Indian safety norms that will come into effect soon.

The Honda Brio hatchback will feature similar styling to that of the recently facelifted Amaze. Honda could retain the same engines that does the duty in both cars, as they have proved to be very efficient, but with a few changes made to keep up with pollution norms.

The Amaze compact sedan has a big role to play for Honda as the compact sedan market in India is very competitive. So until further updates, stay tuned.
