Although there is no word from the Japanese carmaker about the technical specifications of the car. But the Micra is likely to be based on the CMF platform shared by Renault-Nissan partnership.
The next-gen Micra will be manufactured in France at Renault's production unit. There is no word from Nissan whether it will bring the all-new Micra to India or it will develop a new hatchback based on the Micra's V platform specially for Indian market. The manufacturer's sole goal is to provide affordable cars to Indian market.
