Hyundai Elantra Spotted Testing In India Ahead Of Launch
The next-gen Hyundai Elantra has been spied testing in India.
The sixth Generation of the Hyundai Elantra was launched in South Korea in late 2015 and it looks like that Hyundai is readying the sedan for its launch here in India as well.
The test mule was spotted wearing the usual layers of camouflage to hide its styling cues, the India-bound Elantra is expected to retain the styling cues found on the Elantra on sale in other countries.
Hyundai has ditched the fluidic look found on the current Elantra on sale in India for a more refined and mature design.
The front is dominated by Hyundai's hexagonal grille which is flanked by sleek angular headlamps with integrated daytime running lights.
At the rear, the taillamps are sharp and sleek as well.
The new Elantra is expected to feature a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 149hp along with a 1.6-litre diesel engine producing 136hp.
The new Elantra is expected to launch in India later this year.
