Spy Shots Reveal The New VW Polo; Set To Arrive Soon
Volkswagen is planning to take on its rivals on the interior quality, infotainment system, and connectivity front with its next-generation Polo. For the first time, photographers have spotted the hot hatch under camouflage and here are the exclusive images.
The new Polo is expected to make its global debut by the end of 2017, and the spy shots show the manufacturer testing a new version of Volkswagens' hatchback platform.
The heavily camouflaged car did not reveal many details about the exterior, but the Golf GTI-style wheels and twin tailpipes suggest that this could be a GTI version of the new Polo.
To help reduce costs, the new Polo will be the first car to switch to the smallest version of the VW Group's new MQB supermini platform, the A0.
The engineers across Volkswagen group brands have been asked to keep the A0 MQB set-up to the minimum. The new AO platform will result in the Polo, and Skoda Fabia sharing the same wheelbase.
