New Renault Duster To Enter Production By February 2016
An all-new Duster compact SUV by Renault has been expected in the Indian market for a while now. The 2016-edition of Renault Duster is most likely to be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Renault will begin production of the new Duster in India from February 2016 at its Chennai facility.
Several cosmetic updates are expected on the 2016 Renault Duster. The new Duster will adorn design updates similar to the internationally sold models. Dacia currently offers the Duster in its latest avatar in several global markets.
Testing of the new Duster compact SUV has commenced on Indian roads. Renault India is most likely to provide an automatic gearbox to its 2016 Duster. The automatic gearbox is expected to add more value to the compact SUV, owing to the growing demand in the Indian market.
For 2016, Renault India will update the front grille, headlamp, graphics, and colour options. The upcoming Renault Duster is expected to receive a muscular design over its predecessor. Interior will also be updated for a more premium and upmarket experience.
We expect the new Renault Duster will bear a slightly higher pricing than the outgoing model. Once the 2016-edition of Duster compact SUV is launched, it will compete with Hyundai Creta and Nissan Terrano models. Stay tuned for more updates from Renault India leading up to 2016 Auto Expo.
