New Honda Brio RS Spied
Honda's Brio is due for a facelift and it could be anytime soon, maybe this could be displayed at the Auto Expo 2016. The current-generation Brio RS facelift, which has been spied in Indonesia has the front fascia with the majority of change. The headlight comes with a LED daytime running lights and the projector headlamp is seen as well. The bumper comes with honeycomb airdam and the grille has an all-new black unit with chrome finish.
The car looks a lot more like the Mobilio MPV, which has a pronounced center airdam. As for the side, the wheel looks to be a 15-inch alloy and a simple skirt through the running board. The Brio was launched back in 2011 and didn't a good run and there has been changes on the cosmetic front of the car. This, however, led to the Amaze and the Mobilio which share the platform, components and interiors.
The car was accepted by most of the Honda enthusiasts just for its quality and the Honda badge, which brings a lot of confidence in any car buyer. There is no confirmation in the heart of the vehicle, it could come with the same 1.2 litre petrol with manual and automatic version. The Amaze and Mobilio comes with the diesel engine and the new Brio could come with it. We need to wait and watch what Honda's plan for the Indian market.
Honda always bets big in its offering in India, as it has tasted success through its sedan, the City, which has a cult following. The i-VTEC and the EXI have been one the most sought after by the racing community and its still in use in most of the racing categories, be it drag racing or even the rallying teams.
