Honda Brio 2016-Edition Production In India Commences
Honda Cars India has commenced export of its locally manufactured Brio hatchback. The first batch of 2016 Honda Brio will be sent to South Africa. Both Amaze and Brio 2016-edition models were launched recently in South Africa, which will be exported from India.
Previously, the facelifted Honda Brio was introduced in Indonesia. The South African market gets the same model and is expected to be launched in India as well. Minor cosmetic changes have been provided to Honda's all-new Brio hatchback.
Upfront the Honda Brio gets an all-new bigger grille with chrome embellishment. front bumper has been resculpted with better-integrated fog lights. Honda has also provided an all-new rear spoiler, along with wiper/washer. A set of new and trendy alloy wheels are also on offer.
Within the cabin 2016, Honda Brio gets Bluetooth connectivity with a better entertainment system. Interior also gets an all-black theme for premium and elegant feel. MID digital unit will be similar to that seen in the Honda City with bigger instrument cluster.
Under the hood, Honda Brio witnesses no change and will continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. Both manual, as well as automatic transmission, will be on offer. Honda has also commenced development of their next-gen Brio and Amaze, which will be completely different from existing model.
