Planning to buy a new car this month? We can help! There are many carmakers out there who are giving discounts on new cars for the month of April 2016. Thinking which car to buy? Let's take a look at cars that are on a discount.
1. Fiat Punto Evo
Fiat is offering the Punto Evo Hatchback with discounts ranging from Rs. 65,000/- to Rs. 85,000/-, depending on the dealership. The offer is available on both, petrol and diesel models.
2. Nissan Micra
The Nissan Micra is a good handling hatchback, and Nissan offers the Micra in the Indian market with a petrol and diesel engine. Nissan also offers an optional CVT gearbox with the car and now, the carmaker is offering benefits worth around Rs. 70,000/- with the Micra.
3. Maruti Wagon R Stingray
Maruti Suzuki is offering the cooler version of the Wagon R, the Stingray with discounts upto almost Rs. 70,000/- in a few locations. The Stingray is basically the same car as the Wagon R, but made to look a little cooler to attract younger buyers.
4. Maruti Alto 800
The most selling car in India is on offer with benefits worth around Rs. 55,000/-. The reason could be the heat Maruti is facing because of the Renault Kwid, which is registering good sales figures month after month.
5. Mahindra XUV500
Mahindra's top of the line offering for India, the XUV500 comes with a discount too. Mahindra is offering Rs. 75,000/- off for select variants of the XUV. The XUV500 also underwent a recent update and the company introduced an automatic gearbox for select variants of the SUV.
6. Nissan Terrano
Nissan is offering benefits worth up to Rs. 65,000/- on the Duster based Terrano. The offer is for stocks that are left over. The Nissan Terrano is powered by the same diesel and petrol engines as the Renault Duster, but does not feature the All-Wheel Drive system or the AMT gearbox.
7. Renault Lodgy
Renault launched the Lodgy MPV with big promises, but the vehicle failed to sell well in the market. Now, Renault is offering up to Rs. 2 lakh in discount for the Lodgy in some cities to sell numbers. The Renault Lodgy offers great space and is powered by the same diesel engine that is used in the Renault Duster.
8. Fiat Linea
The Linea too is a very poor selling vehicle for Fiat. To boost sales numbers, Fiat is offering total benefits worth Rs. 1.25 lakh in certain places. The choice of petrol and diesel engines have not helped the vehicle sell at all.
9. Renault Scala
The Renault Scala is not really selling well and Renault is desperately trying everything possible to sell more of the Scala. Renault is also offering a flat Rs. 85,000/- discount on the car.
10. Nissan Sunny
The Nissan Sunny is Nissan's version of the Scala and that too, is selling in low numbers. Offering the biggest interior space has not been of any help and Nissan is offering a cash discount of Rs. 75,000/- and other benefits depending on variant and location.
11. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The second best selling car in India, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire compact sedan has seen a decline in sales over the months, but still keeps its position strong. Maruti is offering a minimum discount of Rs. 15,000/- and other benefits such as exchange bonus of Rs. 35,000/-. The AMT version gets a discount of Rs. 25,000 in some places and so does the Dzire Tour.
