'My Mercedes - My Service' After Sales Service Program Launched In India
German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the 'My Mercedes - My Service' after sales program in India.
With the new 'My Mercedes - My Service' after sales service program, Mercedes aims to revolutionize after-sales service and help it stand out from its rivals in the luxury car battle in India.
The revolutionary after sales program is based on three pillars: Digital Service Drive, Premier Express Service, and innovative service products which offer the lowest ownership costs for customers across the luxury segment.
India is the second country in the world after the United States to be offered Digital Service Drive. For the first time in India, car owners can get service updates through a video call and can book their Mercedes in for a service online. Digital Service Drive also offers connectivity to the workshop through video call during pickup and drop, which is a first in the luxury segment.
Mercedes claim that the second feature - 'Premier Express Service' is inspired by pit stops in Motorsports.
A dedicated team of three - a team leader and two certified Mercedes technicians will use dedicated infrastructure within the service center comprising of dedicated bays, two post lift along with specialized tools and equipment to complete the full service in an estimated time period of two hours. Enough time to complete a business meeting or catch a movie.
The third and final pillar of the new service program comprises of multiple options which help keep the cost of ownership very low (The minimum ownership cost is as low as Rs. 49,000/year). The Star Ease New Service Package which gives new cars coverage for 10 years or 200,000 kilometres.
Current Mercedes owners will be offered the Star Ease Compact service package which will cover their cars from anywhere between two to five years and unlimited mileage.
Those who opt for the Star Ease Compact Plus program can now choose from more options including 3 years or 30,000 kilometres, 3 years or 60,000 kilometres, 4 years or 40,000 kilometres, 4 years with 80,000 kilometres and 5 years or 100,000 kilometres.
Customers can buy the Star Ease Compact and Star Ease Compact Plus packages at any point till the fourth year of ownership and for the available duration and mileage.
All three packages will also get the new Premier Express Service free of charge.
