Mercedes-Benz To Launch GLA Activity Edition In India Soon
Mercedes-Benz India plans on launching the GLA 220d Activity Edition on October 13, 2016. Bookings for the Activity Edition by the German-based luxury car maker has begun. The GLA 220d Activity Edition is expected to bear a price tag in excess of Rs. 40 lakh ex-showroom.
GLA Activity Edition is not a limited edition by Mercedes-Benz India. The Activity Edition initially will be their 4MATIC variant of GLA. Several new features and creature comforts will be offered in GLA Activity Edition, which will be later on passed on to other trim levels as well.
An electronically powered tailgate, raised suspension, new alloy wheels, Activity badge, and an off-road package will be included. The Activity Edition will also receive push button start/stop, 12v power socket in the boot, improved COMAND screen, and Dynamic Select will be included by Mercedes-Benz.
Under the hood of Mercedes GLA 220d Activity Edition is a 2.1-litre diesel engine. This engine produces 167.68bhp, along with 350Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. GLA Activity Edition will be more powerful and fun to drive compared to the standard model.
