Mercedes-Benz Recalls 2015 C-Class Over Faulty Steering Assist
oi-Abijith Vilangil
Mercedes-Benz will recall 28,452 units of the 2015 C300 4Matic and 2015 C400 4Matic sedans produced between January 27, 2014 and December 1, 2014 in the United States.
An issue with the power steering assist control unit software can cause the power steering assist to fail. this may lead to accidents occurring due to the need for extra steering effort at slow speeds.
The manufacturer will notify all the affected owners about the recall by the end of January, and rectify it at the earliest using a minor software update.
