Mercedes-Benz Records Highest Ever Sales In India
Mercedes-Benz has set an all-new sales record in the Indian market. The German-based luxury car manufacturer has set a hat-trick of records in the country. In terms of sales, Mercedes-Benz has achieved the best month, best quarter, and best fiscal year sales till date.
In the month of March 2016, Mercedes-Benz India managed to sell a maximum number of vehicles. The German-based luxury car maker explains that March 2016 was the highest sales ever recorded in a single. The exact figure has still not been revealed and will be done so in due course of time.
During the period from January to March 2016, Mercedes-Benz India reports selling 3,622 units. The luxury car maker recorded a growth of 1.6 percent over the corresponding period. From January to March 2015, Mercedes managed to sell 3,566 units in the Indian market.
Fiscal Year of April 2015 to March 2016 saw sales of 13,558 units. Mercedes-Benz India has witnessed a massive growth of 21 percent over last Fiscal Year. During the period of April 2014 to March 2015, Mercedes recorded selling 11,213 units in the Indian market.
The majority of the sales, achieved by Mercedes-Benz was due to the 15 product launches during 2015. The German-based manufacturer plans to launch twelve new luxury models in the Indian market during 2016. Stay tuned for more updates from Mercedes-Benz rivals in India.
