Mercedes-Benz E-Class Edition E Launched In India For Rs. 48.6 Lakh
Mercedes-Benz has launched the E-Class Edition E in India for Rs. 48.6 lakh ex-showroom (Pune). The Edition E by Mercedes-Benz has been launched to celebrate the completion of 20 years of the E-Class in India.
The Edition E is not the new E-Class that made its debut at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, but is based on the E-Class that is sold in India currently. The Edition E features cosmetic changes and a few updates compared to the E-Class that is sold in the country.

- Mercedes-Benz Edition E 250 CDI: Rs. 50.76 lakh
- Mercedes-Benz Edition E 350 CDI: Rs. 60.61 lakh

Engine Specification & Gearbox
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Edition E is powered by a choice of either a 2.0-litre petrol engine that develops 184bhp and 300Nm of torque or a 2.1-litre diesel engine that produces 204bhp and 500Nm of torque. Also, there is a 3.0-litre V6 on offer that produces 265bhp and 620Nm of torque. All three engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
Features
One of the major changes one would notice is are the AMG inspired front and rear bumpers , illuminated three pointed star logo up front, brake callipers with 'Mercedes-Benz' lettering on it, an 'Edition E' badge, 18-inch alloy wheels, and larger disc brakes.
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz Edition E will feature leather upholstery, 6-way electrically adjustable driver and passenger seat with memory function, cooled glove box, electric rear window blinds, SD Card navigation, and sporty brake pedals.
Safety
The Mercedes-Benz Edition E will be equipped with 8 airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), reverse parking camera with guidance, keyless entry, and front and rear parking sensors.
