Beneath the hood is a turbocharged 1991cc four-cylinder petrol engine generating 242bhp of power and 370Nm of torque. Also, the engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission as standard with the dynamic select option. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
The vehicle has an electronically foldable fabric roof, which can be opened and closed at speed of up to 50 km/h. Inside, the Cabriolet shares the same interior as the coupe, with the only difference being the use of heat reflecting leathers and a new button that controls the roof mechanism.
The Cabriolet is estimated to be priced at around Rs 60 lakh. It is expected that the automaker will bring the vehicle as CBU (Completely Built Unit). As for now, there are no direct competitors for the C-Class Cabriolet in India. The closest car to compare it with will be Audi's A3 Cabriolet, which is a segment lower.
