Mercedes-AMG F1 Fans To Develop Connectivity Solutions
The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team has partnered with Tata Communication for its second challenge. Tata Communication is the official connectivity provider to Formula One. The Indian-based company is also an officially managed connectivity supplier for Mercedes-AMG team.
Entries for the second challenge are now open. Participants stand a chance to win prizes worth up to USD 50,000. The F1 Connectivity Innovation prize is open to fans from all over the world and there is no age or country barrier for participation.
Fans have been asked to implement Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technologies. The technologies need to help team collaborate data more efficiently and quickly at each Grand Prix.
The Judging panel includes Lewis Hamilton and Paddy Lowe. Also on the panel are John Morrison, Chief Technical Officer of F1 Management and David Coulthard, former F1 driver, Mehul Kapadia, Managing Director of F1 business at Tata Communications along with Martin Brundle, former F1 driver will judge entrants.
