German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the Mercedes-AMG C43 4-Matic performance sedan in India. The Mercedes-AMG C43 is priced at Rs 74.35 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Powering the new Mercedes-AMG C43 sedan is a 3.0-litre twin-tubo V6 engine that produces 362bhp and 520Nm of torque which is sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic gearbox and Merc's 4-Matic all-wheel-drive system.
The C43 AMG will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.7 seconds and will keep on accelerating till it hits the electronic speed limiter at 250km/h.
The new Mercedes performance sedan comes with AMG's Ride Control sports suspension setup which features electronically controlled shock absorbers with 3-stage variable damping.
Design wise, the new C43 features a few AMG spec design changes like the redesigned grille, a more muscular front bumper and 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels which give it a more aggressive stance compared to the regular C-Class models.
At the rear, the bumper features a more aggressive diffuser which is flanked by the quad exhaust tips of the performance exhaust. Also present is a small boot lip spoiler.
Inside, the C43 AMG gets a sports steering wheel behind which sits AMG's trademark "chequered flag" design instrument cluster along with aluminium accents on the dash.
The Mercedes-AMG C43 is the 13th vehicle launched by Mercedes in the calendar year 2016.
